The Forever 27 Club is made up of famous musicians that died untimely deaths at the age of 27. Although this group is exceptionally large, the most famous of the Forever 27 sect are Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain. In fact; four out of five of these musicians died within a two-year period between 1969 and 1971, and they were all at the height of their careers. Whether it was drugs, suicides, or mysterious circumstances that claimed their lives, they have all left tremendous musical legacies. As the UK's Proud Gallery currently celebrates the lives of these performers in an exhibit, we too want to pay homage to the men and women who will always be remembered as 27 year olds....less
