Like a paraphrase of JFK referring to himself on that trip to France with luminescent wife, Jacqueline, Jerry Garcia's Grateful Dead band mates dubbed themselves The Other Ones after his death in 1995 to put on a few concerts. Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and satellite Grateful Dead man Bruce Hornsby did the 1998 Furthur Tour as The Other Ones and issued The Strange Remain in '99.
