White Zombie’s landmark 1992 album La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1 certainly seemed like the type of sample-heavy rock freak-out that would align perfectly with a wild, outer space adventure starring Mark Hamill. Also, I figured it would be pretty cool watching Darth Vader parade around to all those bad-ass metal riffs. That alone might keep me from dozing off in the middle of said experiment. On December 10th, 2007 the Mothership finally landed inside London’s O2 arena and 20,000 of us got on it for the reunion ride of a lifetime. The long-awaited “official” reunion of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones (the surviving members of Led Zeppelin) finally took place.
